Award-winning director and Primetime Emmy-nominated producer ANNETTA MARION’s experience in television and film spans more than a decade, including documentary television, as well as narrative films, commercials, music videos, and internet content.

Her latest project was the MTV documentary Nicki Minaj: My Time AGAIN that premiered on 1/18/2015; she produced it and worked as the Segment Director. That documentary is now one of the top three specials of the past year for the network.

Annetta is currently the Co-Executive Producer and directing on the Oprah Winfrey Network’s acclaimed television series Oprah’s Master Class, profiling entertainment icons including Vanessa Williams, Tim McGraw, Cicely Tyson, Berry Gordy, and Lenny Kravitz. She is the showrunner on the series, which was nominated for a Primetime Emmy in 2013, a first for the network for a series. Annetta has also directed almost 20 scripted projects including award-winning short films and web series plus commercials and PSAs.

Annetta’s producing experience includes ESPN’s 30-for-30 feature documentary “You Don’t Know Bo,” which earned the highest-ever rating in the network’s history. She’s also produced OWN’s documentary series Visionaries: Inside the Creative Mind that featured, and numerous commercials, feature films, and music videos.

Annetta’s currently developing a slate of documentary and scripted TV projects. She’s a graduate of AFI’s prestigious Directing Workshop for Women; and an active member of the Director’s Guild of America, Producer’s Guild of America, Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and a NYWIFT board member.
